I started with a bunch of purple fingerprints, I added just one yellow one and thought it gave good contrast. Then I started drawing. the yellow guy first and he had this opposition - it was either anger/defiance or fear. Then I thought, why could he be mad - maybe one of these creatures stole something of his. The rest just kind of happened.
